Kari Mann DDS

Unique Approach

Dr. Mann loves to help patients understand how interconnected our oral health is to our whole body and overall health. She greatly enjoys transforming smiles and getting people out of pain, but her long-term goal is proactively preventing disease and ensuring proper oral health and function for lifelong health.

Advanced Training

Dr. Mann has completed countless hours of continuing education including LLU AAID Maxi Course, the Alabama Implant Educator Comprehensive Implant Residency Program, Pikos Surgical Courses, and many others. She is currently finishing Kois Center’s Full Continuum which focuses on training dentists in the latest advances in esthetics, implants, and restorative dentistry. With its foundation firmly in research and proven treatment modalities, this training sets her apart as a practitioner providing the best comprehensive dental care available.

Education

After finishing her undergraduate degree at UNC Chapel Hill, Dr. Mann went on to Loma Linda University in California for dental school. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with clinical honors while also finishing number one in her class for clinical competencies.

Home Life

She met her husband on a blind date in dental school and has been happily married for several years. They enjoy being on the water, traveling, and taking care of their beautiful Maltese fur babies featured below.

Like Dr. Mann, Dr. Johnson is passionate about the connection of oral health and overall wellness. She continually pursues ongoing training and education to ensure her patients receive the best, latest, and most comfortable care available. She believes exceptional dentistry begins with a healthy smile and is supported by aesthetics that bring confidence. She wants everyone to be proud of their smile and openly share it with those around them.

Serving Overseas

Dr. Johnson has had the unique privilege of serving the underserved through dental missions to Guatemala.

Background and Education

From a young age, she knew she wanted to be a dentist. The combination of science and health mixed with the opportunity to personally connect with people drew her in. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with a minor in Leadership from the University of Minnesota, where she also completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Home Life

Growing up in Minnesota, she loves spending summer days up north on the lake. She also enjoys traveling, exploring, working out, all genres of music, and concerts.

Jessica has called Cape Coral home since she was just a year old and is committed to serving the community. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Saint Petersburg College while adding certifications in local anesthesia administration, expanded duties dental assisting, and radiological health and safety along the way.

She builds real relationships with her patients, takes the time to educate them on their oral health, and genuinely loves what she does. For her, every appointment is an opportunity to make someone feel cared for and confident in their smile.

Outside the office, Jessica enjoys spending time with her 16-year-old daughter Siena. Whether they're shopping, binge-watching a Netflix series, or heading to the beach together, they always have a good time. She also loves hanging out with her two Italian Greyhounds, Scout and Daisy, working out, and treating herself to a well-earned mani-pedi.

You always find Danielle with a friendly smile when you visit our office. She grew up right here in Cape Coral and is well connected in the community. She has been in dentistry for over 18 years and graduated from Florida Southwestern State College in 2005 with her Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Danielle loves that she can help patients maintain their healthy beautiful smiles. She finds it rewarding helping patients maintain their oral health as this also results in recognizing and preventing other systemic conditions. When Danielle is not at work she enjoys running, cycling and spending quality time with her husband and 3 children!

Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, Bree found her way to Southwest Florida. She completed her dental assisting training at the Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy, earning certifications in dental assisting, radiology, coronal polishing, and nitrous oxide.

Bree loves helping others, and dentistry allows her to do that every day. She takes pride in building relationships and earning trust to deliver smiles patients never thought possible.

When she isn’t working, you'll find her with a good book, out on the water for a boat day, catching rays at the beach, or exploring back roads on the back of her boyfriend's motorcycle.

Michelle was raised in Lehigh Acres and Fort Myers, and is now proud to call Cape Coral home. She studied at both the University of South Florida and Florida Southwestern State College, earning her Associate’s in Dental Hygiene. Throughout her training, she developed a thorough, patient-centered approach to oral health.

Beside the dental chair, Michelle is easy to talk to and delivers the high-standard Kari Mann care to every patient.

Outside the office, she loves spending time with her family. You might find her playing soccer, fishing with her husband, playing with their dogs, or discovering new restaurants she hasn't tried yet.

Stacie grew up right here in Southwest Florida and started her career as a dental assistant. With her clinical foundation, she has a rare understanding as a treatment coordinator of the care her patients receive. This allows her to help them navigate every step with confidence and clarity.

She’s the kind of person who remembers your name and makes sure you leave knowing exactly what comes next.

Away from the office, she finds her calm in nature, drawing, and time with family. She enjoys a good family dinner, game night, or outdoor activity with her two children.

Originally from Connecticut, Jiljana brought her warmth and work ethic to Southwest Florida. She earned her Associate's degree from Florida Southwestern State College and her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification from the Institute of Dental Technology.

Jiljana's approach to patient care is deeply personal as she takes the time to build real relationships.

When she's not in the office, she's spending time with her husband and two kids, having their weekly family movie night, baking together, or enjoying the park or the beach.

Originally from New Jersey, Jerika studied psychology at William Paterson University. She has an intuitive understanding of people and the rare ability to make even the most anxious patient feel like they're in the right place.

Jerika loves greeting every patient with a welcoming smile and undeniable warmth that sets the tone for the whole visit.

Outside the office, she's a dedicated mom who loves spending time with her outdoor-loving daughter. They ride bikes and scooters, walk the dog, search for animals, and enjoy building sandcastles on the beach.

"I love making people feel at ease the moment they walk through the door. It truly feels like family here, and I hope every person feels that."

Carrie grew up in upstate New York and recently relocated to Florida. She completed her dental assisting program and has continued investing in her career. She is a Member of the American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM) and has completed her Fellowship (FAADOM) with them.

With her clinical background and patient-centered instincts, Carrie spends one-on-one time with patients to truly understand their needs.

At home, she's fully embracing Florida life with her husband Brian, their son Brendon, and their two chihuahuas. They love walking the dogs, getting outside, and enjoying every bit of sunshine. You might also find her tending to her garden or shopping the latest sales.

A Cape Coral native, Tay trained at the Institute of Medical and Dental Technology (IMDT), developing a deep appreciation for what comprehensive, in-house care can mean for a patient. Her expanded functions certification and phlebotomy credential expand the high level of care she delivers daily.

Tay loves the closeness of the team and the family feel of Kari Mann Dental Studio. She’s inspired by the standard of skill and wealth of knowledge each team member brings to every appointment.

Off the clock, she's spending time with her fiancé and spoiling their dogs. She also enjoys shooting hoops, hitting the trails with her dogs, delicious dinner dates, and car rides with no particular destination.

Born in Chicago and raised in Cape Coral, Ryan completed his dental assisting training at Charlotte Technical College. He believes patients deserve the best possible visit every time they come to our office.

Ryan loves being part of a practice that does dentistry differently. No corporation making decisions. No patients second-guessing. Just a shared commitment to doing the right thing for every person in the dental chair.

When he's not in the office, Ryan’s on the sand playing volleyball, out fishing, or at the lanes bowling.

Justin is a Fort Myers native and Cypress Lake High School graduate. As an expanded functions dental assistant, he combines technical precision with the kind of warmth that makes people feel truly cared for.

Away from the practice, Justin loves spending time with his wife (Casey) and their five children (Aliyah, Alexeah, Noah, Romilee, and Raelynn). Together, they enjoy playing games, going on beach days, attending church, and participating in the kids’ ministry. You might also find Justin playing a round of disc golf, catching some fish, or reading his Bible.

Maryellen

Originally from New Jersey, Maryellen brings more than 14 years of experience in dental operations, patient experience, and team leadership. With extensive continuing education in restorative dentistry, dental operations, and practice management, she is passionate about creating positive experiences for both patients and her team.

Maryellen loves being part of an industry that is constantly evolving and enjoys helping patients feel confident in their smiles. Seeing a patient’s reaction during a smile reveal is still one of her favorite parts of the job.

Outside of the office, Maryellen enjoys relaxing by the pool, listening to podcasts, cooking, and spending time with her family. She also loves beach days, exploring new places, and taking her Golden Retriever, Sophie, on walks and golf cart rides.
